Challenge Cutthroat Catch Up (Episodes 8, 9, 10 Recaps)

[whooshing sound] First big topic to discuss, we start, we'll go chronological here.

So we're starting a couple things from episode eight.

And obviously the one big thing from episode eight is where we left off episode seven, and in that recap we discussed that we know what's coming.

There's this big DQ, Josh Nelson and Leo aren't there when TJ enters the house.

And, you know, then f- you know, people that are prone to spoilers and whatnot knew and you know what the video was confirming in seven and what was eventually confirmed in the first 30 seconds of episode eight, which is Josh Nelson and Leo had been DQ'd and removed from the game over.

We didn't know, except we know because the spoilers exist and all the cast talk and everything eventually is found out and we know exactly what happened.

But as far as the show is considered, they decided as we were worried that they were going to do, to not only not show us anything, but also not even say one damn thing about why It had happened.

TJ said something to the effect of they all broke the code of conduct, and so they've been removed from the game, and that was that, and they just moved on.

[lip smack] And as you know, uh, going into this, that was what I kind of expected.

It was what I dreaded.

I had already shared some thoughts in advance of if they go this route, I am going to be very upset, and I'm going to expect a lot of other people to likely be very upset along with me.

And then it actually happened, and it was even worse than not showing it because they didn't even say a single thing or give an actual reason for this person for this reason, this person for that or whatever.

And then we learn, you know, the story, or those of us who didn't already know the story from spoilers and everything else learn the story.

Which, uh, I, I hopefully will get mostly accurate here.

Um, and if I don't, please correct me in the comments wherever you're listening or watching.

But [lip smack] Josh, Leo, and Nelson were playing some sort of game.

I don't know if it was cards or what- whatever they were doing.

They were all sitting around together, uh, playing some game of some kind.

And, um, during that, I don't know if there was others involved, but those three were all involved.

And Jo- Nelson, I think someone, either Nelson or Leo, Nelson first said... used the N word, and then Josh repeated it, which you absolutely cannot do.

I don't think I need to remind you, but Josh is a white man, and, uh, we don't say that ever for any single reason.

That's, that's just how it is.

That's how it should be.

And, uh, there doesn't need to be any explanation beyond that.

Um, [lip smack] and he did.
