Other than the announcement minutes ago of a new All-Star Game format, which we'll get to in a second because we're still digesting it, of course, there's nothing that interests Aaron Portsline and me more than the NHL All-Star Game.
Got a little taste of it today when the league announced the home openers for each team.
The Columbus Blue Jackets will open at home on October 1st, which is the first day of the season for everyone.
But on the 1st of October, which was Karm's birthday, 1932, the Buffalo Sabres will be in town.
And one thing that I did notice, or someone did, and I picked up on it, was that the Jackets are not the home opener for any other team.
