So you started it out of a need that you saw that women's voices weren't being heard or shared or elevated.

No, I experienced a lot of it in terms of whenever I want to interview players, there was just higher figures for a place that I was in that would make jokes in regards to like, oh, you should date him and stuff like that.

Or I remember the comment being made to me in a one-on-one conversation that when I said, oh, I'm not really getting these opportunities to interview the players for things.

And there was no evidence because I've never had an unprofessional relationship or anything with either coaches, like any staff or players.

And so that really like kind of cut me deep in a way where I was like, there's no evidence.

Why would somebody make that comment? And I think I was so in shock that I just kind of left the conversation, but it ended up being something that I thought about every single day after.

I felt like I couldn't even say hi to anybody without them just assuming that something was happening.

And so I ended up having another conversation with that higher up person later.

And then it was really embarrassing because I'm such an angry crier that I did tell them that I was like, you said this and it really hurt me.

But I was like, what would prompt someone in the first place to say something like that when there's no evidence whatsoever.

A lot of my friends that work in the industry saying how they got stereotyped and None of that had ever happened to me up until then.

So I felt kind of silly thinking like, I can't believe it took that actually happening to me for me to wake up and be like, okay, someone needs to address this.
