Humans are even greater in terms of value close to God's heart than the sun, the moon.
Let that sink in, just how valuable you are, that God knit you together in your mother's womb, that your identity is that you belong to God in his family, a son and daughter of God.
I mean, it speaks to how much he loves us, that even though we sin and go... our own way and rebel against God, He's willing to die for us.
You are valuable, not because of what you do, but because of who you are, that God has made you and loves you and pursues you and thinks that you're worth dying for.
We see in Genesis 1, this is near the end of the first chapter, God says, let us make man in our likeness.
And you think about the Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, now humankind, male and female.
So he gives us stewardship, we govern, we rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
