OCTOBER 6: Columbus Manhunt Underway, Early Voting Begins, Caleb Flynn Sentenced for Murder of Wife, Growing Columbus, and Cedarville University Creates Life-Saving Device

Well, let's get into our headlines today.

So early voting starts today.

Your deadline to register was yesterday.

So you needed to get that done in order to participate.

We know Sherrod Brown, he's already hit the polls and cast his vote in this election.

So we're gonna dive into that and everything you need to know.

Right.

And Tyler Thomas, the man standing accused in the disappearance and death of Haley Busby, that Indiana teen, he has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

We're diving into that case, what we know about it right now, and when we could possibly see that go into court.

Yeah.

And tourism is just booming here in Columbus.

We are joined by the president and CEO of Experience Columbus to talk about some new numbers that have come out and why Columbus is really becoming this hotspot for tourism.

Yeah, and in a follow-up to a story we talked about a couple months ago, a life-saving device invented at Cedarville University now has FDA approval.

So now we're taking a look at what's next and really when this could be rolled out and sent to market.

Alrighty, well, let's get to our top story for today.

Columbus police are actively looking for a man.

They're looking for 32-year-old Michael Wells.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

This is an image of him.

He's accused of shooting and killing a man and injuring another one Sunday morning.

And officers were sent to the Prime Ultra Lounge, and this is on Barnett Road, and this was around 2.15 in the morning of the shooting, which was on Sunday.

And once they got there, they found two adults suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Both were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

And Jeffrey Mucker was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation shows there were three men involved who got into a fight in the parking lot there at that club.
