One group of teams that we love to consistently complain about was the Pacific Division.

There was no shortage of comments on how bad, historically bad, this division was.

There were a lot of complaints about the Pacific Division.

Well, guess what? This year, it's going to look a little bit different.

Last year, there was only one team that won more than 50% of their games.

That was actually the Anaheim Ducks.

It wasn't the Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights, and it wasn't everyone's favorite Stanley Cup pick, the Edmonton Oilers.

Well, this year, the San Jose Sharks, led by Macklin Celebrini, will win the Pacific Division.

win is going to win the heart trophy i think he's going to total 130 plus points will be a 50 goal scorer and i think that is going to elevate the rest of the team that's around him i think askerov's gonna take a big step i think we can laugh about them signing darnell nurse and jacob truba but i think those will be solid welcomed additions that add veteran presence and physicality to a decor and i just think we're gonna see a more complete team this year in san jose i think a lot of the young guys are going to get off to a hot start and i think there's some solid veterans there that will help this macklin celebrini led group and i think they're going to be pacific division champions in a division that let's be honest it's there for the taking it was so disappointing last year

i think it is a great bold prediction i don't think i necessarily think it's going to happen that's why it's a bold prediction i still think that edmonton is uh i think edmonton's in their way i think i think you know you mentioned that like celebrini's gonna have 130 points okay well mcdavid might have 150 points this year and they have dry sidle and they have all these other guys up front that can get it done i think it's asking a lot of a scare off as well till i take a big step we got to see how he plays not that edmonton's goaltending is that great but I don't know, man.
