My APL D core is Quinn Hughes, Luke Hughes, Theodore, and Seth Jones.

Should I bother to drop Seth Jones or Trouba to pick him up? Um, with Trouba, it's really can you afford to lose the, the hits and blocks and stuff there? Uh, Yahoo! standard is just the, just the hits then, right? Um, Hudson still hits a bit, so you're not losing everything there, but I would obviously prefer to have Hudson over Trouba in a points league.

It's really just about what you need from that slot for D.

But the name on the second defensive pair of Seth Jones.

If you remember last year, he went down on the Winter Classic inside Marlins Park, and that is kind of when the season started to go downhill.

Not only was that kind of the last straw of injuries of now, oh brother, and then they piled up even more after that.

But Seth Jones and Nico Mikula are going to be another big part of this Florida Panthers team.

And just like we talked about yesterday, how the third line for the Florida Panthers would be a top line for, I would say, a handful of teams around the NHL.

This second defensive pair of Seth Jones and Nico Mikula could make the argument would be a top defensive pair on...

Two handfuls? Teams? Maybe ten teams in the NHL, and they are part of the reason that the Florida Panthers have had such great success over the past few seasons.

I don't say abysmal.

They were 19th, but you could easily see them being a top 10 power play even higher with Barkov healthy, with Matthew Kachuk healthy, with Seth Jones quarterbacking that.

I think Reinhardt is sneaky, sneaky, and we're counting this also as a league where you get shorthanded points because Reinhardt is one of the best at getting shorthanded points.

So having a guy that can average over a point per game that's hitting all your other categories and winning you shorthanded points on any given week is just, it's too much value.

seasonWhen you talk about the Blackhawks and the season that they had last year, I think one of the big spotlights for the Blackhawks was the goaltender, Spencer Knight, who going back to well over a year ago, I was a big fan of him when he was with the Florida Panthers.

And when he was acquired from the Florida Panthers in the Seth Jones trade, I said, "This is the guy who could, if in the right situation, he could prove to be the number one guy for the Chicago Blackhawks." Given that he just wrapped up his first full season with, with the Blackhawks, what is your view on Spencer Knight, and how much of an impact number one goalie can he be for this team as they aspire to return back to the Stanley Cup playoffs?

Yeah, I definitely think he has the capabilities to be the guy.

And the Blackhawks, they, they feel that way as well, I know that.

And from what Spencer Knight showed us with a very young defense in front of him last year, I just m- mentioned all of the, the youngsters.

Levshunov and Rynzel were both rookies.

Uh, it, it was perhaps the youngest defense in all of hockey, so he faced a lot of rubber on a regular basis in a spot where, I mean, he's never had to been leaned on before when he was with the Florida Panthers prior to that trade for Seth Jones.

So it was a new situation for him, and he handled it really well.
