EPISOD 273: ALEXIS SANCHEZ IS MONTREAL-BOUND

But look, let's talk about it.

Let's talk about it right away.

Yesterday, the news broke, and today it was officially confirmed by CF Montreal.

Chilean international, former Arsenal star, and one of the biggest names in South American football, Alexis Sanchez, is coming to Montreal.

Former Olympique de Marseille star, please.

Sure.

That's

definitely in his biography somewhere.

It is.

All right.

And Alexis Sanchez is joining CF Montreal as a designated player on a contract that runs through the end of the 2027 sprint MLS season with an option for the 2027-2028 season.

This is a massive move for CF Montreal, not just because of the name, because it is a big name.

Alexis Sanchez is very, very well known in the football world.

But it's also about the impact he could have on pretty much everything and anything.

You know, CF Montreal shirt sales.

You know, I had a friend today, a colleague that.

I told him, oh, Alexis Sanchez is going.

And he said, you know, for him, I would pay a ticket to go watch a game.

I don't even care.

He said, for him, I will go to watch that game.

Even if they win or lose, I don't care.

I'm going to see him.

This is why you get an Alexis Sanchez.

You get somebody that can say, I'll buy a ticket to go watch him play.

It doesn't matter if he's playing on one leg or he barely cares to be there.
