Celebrate Garrett 250

The event is being held at the Garrett County Fairgrounds.

And the exciting part about this event is it's a celebration of America's 250, of Garrett County, of the towns and the people that make up Garrett County.

So, yes, we don't typically fall into that 250-year tradition.

timeline, if you will.

It doesn't all

have to be history.

Exactly.

It's not

all going to be history, but we're going to share lots of history.

So keep your mind open and come celebrate.

At 12 o'clock, gates open.

So the interesting thing is we want to make sure that nobody is omitted from being able to come to this event.

And so we decided to do it free of charge.

We're asking for donations to help offset the event if you wish, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

So that would be 12 o'clock.

Also at 12 o'clock, we have our car show is going to start.

And Mountaintop Cruisers is the organization that's behind the car show.

So they're going to be back again.

And that will run from about 12 to 4 o'clock that day.

Once you're inside of the fairgrounds, we are going to have our hometown heroes.

So many of our first responders, our fire trucks, our police, our rescue squads are going to be represented and showcasing their organizations and their skills and how much they give back to our community.

So they will be there in full scale.

Flags will be flying.

It's going to be so cool to see.
