Yeah, so we've just got back from the lovely Newcastle, so we thought we'd have a chat about the 15th edition of Pinfest.
Mm-hmm.
This was Alex's second trip and my third, and we got to stay in the lovely Club Macquarie Hotel this time, which is very convenient, although anywhere you stay around the area is good because you tend to just go there, stay till midnight,
go home,
and then repeat.
Which is
convenient when you live there because you can just stumble down the stairs and go straight to your room.
Why are you stumbling?
No reason.
I
can tell you why you're stumbling because you saw that glass of wine.
If you go to the bar, because people may know I like a Sauvignon Blanc, she said, would you like a regular or a large pour? And I went, oh, give me a large pour.
And it was like this massive glass filled to the brim with a meniscus.
I think it was about half a bottle each glass.
Yeah, she might have just given you the bottle.
Yeah, I was well behaved.
I only had three drinks, so that was good.
That's why

So we thought we'd talk about the highlights, some lowlights, most involving Alex.
And what went on and who we saw and what games we played.
It's the 15th year, as I said, and what they do is they have sessions, about three hourly sessions that they sell to the public and every year they sell out.
