Idiocracy has such beautiful PBS Nova style narration explaining how the future screws itself up because to quote Green Day, more and more stupid people are breeding and it's just the world turns stupid over the course of several centuries.

uh it's a great film and it's just played with the the absolute drop dead heart attack seriousness of the narrator as you're watching the world coming apart to the seams where every every store is uh is costco or and uh people people don't know anything about anything except making more kids and piling up garbage and not knowing how to grow plants but the narration really just sells the whole thing it just makes it that much funnier it's that for the same reason they had a dramatic actor like neil uh leslie nielsen starring an airplane uh the narrator for idiocracy just does it for me so that's my that's my top narrated movie

Anne Francis, of course, is a big name.

Walter Pidgeon and Leslie Nielsen.

This is when Leslie Nielsen was kind of like the straight guy.

He played the straight man, did a lot of TV guest roles after this.

And, of course, he would strike gold with Airplane and then become the comic kind of guy that we all, most people know him from.

But he did a handful of horror films, of course, amazing performance in Creepshow, Day of the Animals, Prom Night, just a lot of stuff.
