So those of you that are listening that aren't on the inside, the inside track, will know we put in like about 12 episodes, didn't we? Yeah.

We're almost hitting that kind of ceiling now, but little do the laymans out there know that we've banked a bunch of other episodes as well.

But this was the last of this current run, which we're kind of targeted at... kind of parents and kids and carers and teachers and careers advisors.

And I think, as I've always said throughout this particular run, uh, Simon, I really do like the candor and the honesty of the guests that we've had.

So in particular, this particular episode was really, really about what happens if it doesn't work out.

Yeah, yeah, it's funny, isn't it? Because this is almost a callback to last year's little flurry of episodes where we talked about kind of adjacent VFX careers in legal and in architectural visualization and fashion.

And we did try and get a young person, God, he's very patronizing, Angelo Roncelli from Detroit who works in automotive, but we couldn't get his internet to work.

So we're sorry, Angelo, if you're listening, we'll get you back on another episode.

Another small confession I should note is Alannah Belanger from Untold Studios.

and turns out I broke the cardinal rule of not having repeat guests but Alana was on the you'll remember on the mental health episode we did a few beats back so but we didn't mind and Alana was lovely and no

and it's a testament to the fact that people actually enjoy coming on the Access VFX podcast so yeah I had the same reaction as like Alana haven't we had you before but she was happy to come back again so who are we to turn her away

So this is the perfect episode to kind of tail off for the kind of, at least the first run of these episodes, as I said, that really cap off the kind of the broad state of the industry type conversations.

Because we talked about, you know, should I encourage my kids to get into VFX animation? We talked about, you know, the roles that exist and some of the realities about the current climate.

And I think this caps it off quite nicely, the whole if VFX doesn't work out, what else can these schools do? So it's a It's a good one.
