Bringing a major conference to life requires more than just a good idea. James (Seung Ho Jeon) breaks down the logistics of reviving TEDx Arkansas State University and leading through daily…
So the main thing we want to talk about today is really about kind of the journey of TEDx Arkansas State University, which.
I'm just so proud as as somebody who's kind of created something from nothing, whether it's an event or a company or whatever, to birth something and then to build it and kind of launch it, which you'll be doing in late September.
And you've had there are already variables where you can see that you're having great success.
Well, really, I feel very honored, number one, to bring the TEDx Arkansas State University back in about a decade.
So I didn't realize this before I started organizing it.
It was from the Mexico campus, the Cartero campus.
And they organized it with speakers from within the university.
And there were about, I believe, 10 speakers from there.
Which was right before COVID.
So I did realize that COVID put a lot of stop into, of course, into all of the businesses and the like.
But that was one of the things that stopped due to COVID.
So...
That was really why I brought it back.
Something that I could bring to Dean Washam and Dr. Hill were very supportive of the idea that it happened nine years ago.
So we can do it again.
You know, there was a precedent.
So to say.
So I guess I feel very happy that it did come back because this was my goal of the year.
That's amazing.
