Send Help (2026)

Director, of course, Sam Raimi, written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

And this movie comes by way of Raimi Productions, Sam Raimi's company, and 20th Century Studios by way of Fox, which is also Disney.

So crazy to think that Disney did this whole thing.

And the runtime is about an hour and 53 minutes, so just under two hours.

And as far as the genre goes, obviously, there is horror elements here.

But...

To just list this as almost like, I don't know, I've heard this described as like a workplace satire.

I think it's so much more than that.

I feel like that's what kind of draws you in.

And that's certainly the foundation of it all.

But this is just as much a psychological thriller and survival thriller and dark comedy as well.

And it has like these elements of almost like a White Lotus sort of feel because you have this... very mediocre yt male who always thinks he's in charge and realizes like how incompetent he actually is when shit actually hits the fan but it is psychological as well and it does have this sort of lord of the flies element to it and so it has a lot of really fun stuff and it's just by way of like sam ramey's brain and the way he likes to present movies and he brings a lot of the fun and the gore and the grossness and everything to it it makes for a really really fun watch And we have an all-star cast.
