I was reminded of Psalm 107, verse 9, for he satisfies the longing soul and the hungry soul he fills with good things.
I wanted to ask you one question before we finish up tonight.
You know, the culture that you spoke of, the heavy drinking, the lifestyle, it's more common than we think.
And so this is the cycle that, yeah, maybe they feel stuck in or too uncomfortable to move.
What's something that you would say to... encourage those people who feel like, I'm just here, this is where I am, this is where I've been, I'm stuck here, why change now? It's too late.
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
You have to be willing to actually just admit that you are trying to fill a void.
And that's okay because a lot of us are.
I know from my experience that God is the only thing that can do that, that can fill that void.
Honestly, what have you got to lose? That drinking, that lifestyle, it's always going to be there.
I just encourage people to actually just reflect.
on why you do things the way you do them, what you're doing with your life, because that's when I kind of realized I don't want to do this anymore.
