Chris BintGuestEddie McGheeHostUm, going back a little bit, just, um, now I read something that, um, you know, when you started with her, or I, I think I read this somewhere, that, you know, she wasn't really aware of, like, how the ranking systems and, and things like this or maybe other aspects of the tour, how they operate.
Um, would you be able to elaborate on that, on what sort of things is she still learning, if she, if anything?

I mean, I, I would say she's s- she has a bit of an idea now of how, like, the ranking system work, uh, because it's part of, like, an induction, but she doesn't pay any attention to rankings, points.

Uh, like, she wouldn't have any idea, um, excuse me, uh, about that, and wouldn't have any idea when points are coming on or off.

Uh, so, uh, um, how the, how the ranking system works, obviously it's 52 weeks, uh, period.

The 1000 events, you have to play them, otherwise you get fined, uh, and a zero.

I would say that these w- tournaments, they're called locks for your ranking as well.

But if you get into the main draw of Slams and these 1000s, if you lose first round that is a lock.

Even if she had her lo- a, a, a next, uh, other result of, let's say, 50 points, um, that 50 points doesn't get counted.

So that's why actually it's quite challenging when you are ranked between, let's say, 33 to 70, where you have to play, obviously, all these mandatory events.

Um, points and prize money, but if you don't do great at them, your ranking can quickly drop.

And, um, so that's something to consider when you're, like, planning tournaments.
