UKG admins swap real-world fixes in this peer session. Hear how one team built an AI tool to consolidate security roles, why BI alerts can miss backdated terminations, and the push to move onboarding…
Well, we're getting ready for 2027.
We, um, implemented...
So we have, you know, UKG Pro and then UKG Workforce Management, and we went live at the end of January with Workforce Management.
So all of our 2026, like, holidays and things like that, all of those were built by our implementation team, you know, in, in connection with us.
And so we are prepping for, like, the holidays.
We've got some pay code changes, um, and we're finding we- I have a new total rewards leader, and we're finding that our Workforce Management reporting isn't reflecting, uh, correctly, and so we're trying to figure all of that out.
That's what, that's what we're working on this week.
Interesting.
And what, what specifically is going wrong?
Well, so we, you know, we're dental, we're a dental company, so we have dental practices that we partner with.
And in a lot of practices, you'll have a dental assistant who also works as a hygienist, or a dental assistant who works as a front office.
And our clinical employees report, like, they report to a different company or different organization than the non-clinical.
So if you've got someone who works in the front office and in a clinical role, like a DA, um, they actually work for two different companies.
And so you- we have to consolidate all of that for our W-2s, for our benefits.
And what we're finding right now is our GL reporting isn't correct to show that Sally's rate as a DA is 28, but her rate as, um, a dental hygienist is 54.
Hmm.
And so we're trying to unwind some of that, which is pretty fun.
Wow.
Okay.
Yeah.
We don't have that set up, so I, uh... [laughs] I wouldn't know how to solve that.
No. Um-
Okay.
