Microsoft Copilot

So let's say we got another three to six months.

I don't think it's going to grow any more than that because all the companies that are already kind of deciding, and we've already heard like Copilot and Microsoft and other companies saying, oh, we're not even making as much as we thought with the AI stuff.

So I do think now saying bubble will pop, that can mean anything from just like a small drop to a big drop.

But I do think things will slow down at least.

For instance, I am not a math person at all, and I needed a report.

And I know that there are formulas in Excel to do that, but I just asked Copilot to do that for me, and it gave me exactly what I needed with dollar totals.

And so if I can avoid math and use it, yes, thank you very much.

Yeah, I guess that I guess that's the thing, because I said I've used it to make multiple choice questions for tests while I was teaching.

So, I mean, I can make guesses, but like, I mean, let's flip to you guys as like a product engineering business.

And when you're making the thing that you're selling, what are you, I mean, like, what kind of tools are you using? You know what I mean? Are you using like Codex or Cloud Code or Copilot or to like write the code that drives this stuff? Like when you guys make your product, like what does it look like? Yeah.

Yeah, so I use the Goose CLI, which is open source.

And as I said before, I have an API key with z.ai, so I just use GLM.

Those are some of the questions that really do have to be addressed at a time when geopolitical cooperation is not exactly at its best.

Microsoft is adding Grok to Copilot in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, starting with customers in its Frontier Early Access program.

It's another step in Microsoft's strategy of offering models from multiple AI companies.

One of the reasons for this offering could be price.

You're not using Copilot and AI just in your writing? Yeah.

I don't send an email out without using that stuff anymore.

Where we are is I've actually, because we're in Nashville and because of my work history, I'm working directly with the College of Connected Computing at Vanderbilt University, which has a company called Create Amplify, which has one of the most powerful AI engines in North America called Magic.

I've just developed a paper for anyone who wants to read it and then an audit, predominantly for a AI at scale.

I look, any organization that's got Microsoft has got Copilot and people are using it willy-nilly.

And what occurred to me is that our work is in making sure that fix the system that prevents women from reaching their full potential, help women navigate the system.

And I'm looking at this system that goes, okay, I think there's a whole bunch more of history's bias is being baked into these tools.

Half the industrial robots in America are owned by Amazon and they're basically warehouse robots, right? And they are improving productivity out of sight.

And I think it's the physical AI that is actually going to be where we get the productivity improvements, not from more people using Copilot to write emails.

From Hugging Face to ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemini, whatever.

So we cannot learn all of this.

We cannot use all of these tools as well.
