System admins swap real-world advice on ATS transitions, why a data warehouse saves your sanity, troubleshooting iCIMS job templates and offer dates, automating new hire emails, Indeed Applied Network…
Let's see.
I see Cordell on the call.
Cordell, you had one about restoring a job template and other woes.
You want to talk about that one?
Yes.
So I met with Vivian, and we also had some awesome responses from my colleagues in this group, which, in fact, the deal was we have a job template.
Typically what we do is we create a job requisition based off of that job template.
And we don't use that job template to actually post and recruit for a job.
However, a recruiter found a way to do such.
And then we had a system an update that was pushed from our PeopleSoft system which updated all of our templates and items and the person lost all of or at least thought they lost all of their data the template was written over they couldn't see the people who had applied to the job they were in the middle of interviewing a big mess.
So bottom line was that the data was still in the system and by changing the folder type from active job template or job template, an active job template to active, or approved or whatever the one is, I think it's called active, but whatever it is, approved, that brought things back to life.
And so we might be without a job template for that item, and I may have to create a new job template, but we were able to resurrect the people who were associated with the job posting and all is well with the world.
Good to hear.
So Cordell, are you all set?
Well, then there's the other woes.
Yes, I'm all set with that.
I have a great deal of difficulty getting grass seeds to grow in my yard.
And Vivian was trying to help me out with that.
And my woe is that she recommended planting clover and the clover then flowers.
And I wonder, doesn't that draw bees? And how do you deal with the bees? That was my other one.
You
rejoice because they're good for the environment.
I got stung by one trying to help a neighbor remove the tree branch from a one-story, the roof of her one-story house and didn't know that there was a nest of small little bees hanging out So TA systems and horticulture.
This is, this is the place for it.
Yeah.
