Meet ZaRiah, 2026 Fischoff grand prize winners

Now, you've prepared some music for us today.

What will you be playing?

Today, we're gonna be performing the first movement of Mozart's Serenade in C Minor.

Uh, something really interesting about this piece is, um, back in the day when it was composed, you would find this music more on the street.

Uh, Mozart wrote this serenade as a sort of street band piece that would be performed for people walking by.

You could think of it kind of as, like, what pop music was like for Mozart's time in Vienna back all the way back then.

Um, so yeah, we're really excited.

This arrangement's super fun, and we're glad to include the flute finally.

[laughs] It finally gets to play this awesome music.

So yeah, Mozart Serenade C Minor, movement one.

Okay, well, take it away.
