now the next thing I want to talk about is the quarterback that being Drake May now I don't want to pin this all on him as we know MVP runner-up last year magic carpet ride through the postseason and obviously getting to a Super Bowl but with May and that performance that he had against the Seahawks you know he's going to rebound you know he's going to want to bounce back in a big way and especially in front of his own fans and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a short memory thinking back to what happened last year in week three to where he had or his offense five turnovers including a couple fumbles on his part which were very important in guiding the Steelers to that 21-14 victory but for May how I see it with this offense and if you're the Steeler defense and the defensive coordinator Patrick Graham this is not a big-time offense and now you take out A.J. Brown who's going to be on the shelf dealing with that high ankle sprain even more the reason to try to get to the quarterback as much as they possibly can.

And also the run game too, which I'll talk about in a couple of the segments.

But from my vantage point as a fan, Drake May, he's a guy that's going to dink and dunk you to death.

This is not a big-time offense.

They're not going to stretch the field.

I get it even without Brown there.

They still have Hunter Henry, who's a good tight end.

And they also have the likes of... who was the kid, Demario Davis.

They also have another young player there on the offensive side to be able to catch the ball.

But again, they don't have a big-time offensive playmaker, at least in my eyes.

Now, they're very good.

They are set up in a way where the pieces and the way the team is constructed, it complements one another.

But if you're...

Patrick Graham, you got to look at this and say, all right, who are we going to attack? Especially when it comes to the passing game.

Yes, we got to make sure that our edges get to the quarterback as much as they possibly can.

That's going to be enormous.

And more on that in a second with the pass rush.

But with Drake May, he's not a guy that's going to be slinging it all over the field.

What I mean by that, he's going to be stretching the field 10, 15 yards.

I'm sure, watch, I say this and you're going to see Hunter Henry in the seam.

They're going to play zone or who knows, maybe a little bit different.

Remember, this is a Mike Tomlin situation.

anymore where they're going to employ that zone defense but as we're starting to get to learn more about Patrick Graham and his style and the type of defense that he employs on the field or deploys excuse me how I see it is is that this is a team that they should be able to play straight up this shouldn't be a thing where it's like ah well let's hang back let's kind of read and react no nonsense this should be a thing where it's like all right we got this guy here we got several players over on this side that we can pay attention to and again I just want to pull up the other guy that I'm missing down the Patriots it was Romeo Dobbs that's the guy who had that big drop there on and Demario Douglas was the guy said Demario Davis my names are all screwed up here my apologies when it comes to the Patriots but when you have guys that have ability and can make plays, but certainly are no one that I'm going to look at and be like, oh, geez, we've got to watch after this guy.

A.J. Brown, you've got to give him his daps and his respect and all that.

And this isn't to knock the Patriot offense by any stretching imagination, but you've also got to understand this too.
