And for Furtano, for Mason McCormick, for Spencer Anderson, who was a human turnstile there on Sunday in Foxborough, they certainly have to do a lot better.
And I would think that they would be a little bit tougher, a little bit meaner, maybe have some spirit here in practice, as I talked about earlier.
on yesterday's episode where Mike McCarthy talked about last Wednesday Thursday he had this pit in his stomach thinking that ah practice uh not as seamless as it should be and I'm paraphrasing here of course but going back to the offensive line it's a situation where they have to have a little bit more They've got to be mean.
This was in the NFL of yesteryear when we talk about guys like Conrad Dobler and now I'm going way back.
And guys that certainly got in the trenches and mucked it up and certainly held and took no prisoners.
And not to say that the Steeler offensive line has to do a 180 and have that type of attitude in order for them to impose their will on a defensive line and hopefully defenses moving forward.
It's a game that is going to be uber important considering that they're already a game behind the Bengals in these standings for the AFC North.
And if they lose, they'll be two and a half games considering that they'll have lost the head-to-head with the game later on in Cincinnati.
And that's the last thing that the Steelers and their team and especially their fans want to see.
So I think in order for this offensive line, hopefully they've seen a lot of the tape.
Maybe they don't even need to see the tape as bad as they performed there in Foxborough.
I would think because it starts with those guys to be able to protect Aaron Rodgers to have some semblance of a running game I mean listen we're not looking for Jerome Bettis having his heyday and getting big chunks of yards down the field or even before that you want to talk about Franco Harris and in between Barry Foster for my Steel fans out there who know That would be fantastic.
And I'm not trying to say play dirty or play uber physical to the point where after the whistle.
