The running backs aren't even fitting well into the locking scheme either.

It's like the running backs have no idea where to go.

Their best way to do this is try to string it out wide, get some space to create some natural gaps.

Let this offensive line, if they're not anything else, they are athletic.

And part of that is McCarthy rather surprisingly moved the offensive line around.

He flipped Troy Fotonu and Mason McCormick from the right side to the left, sending Dylan Cook and Spencer Anderson the other way.

And it's just looked disjointed.

I'm really not sure what the thinking process was there.

But, you know, he's been taking a lot more pressure.

And a lot of that is coming from the guard spots.

You flip Mason McCormick, as you said.

Isaac Sayamalo is not here anymore.

He recorded a sack and four tackles against this team in 2024.

I think that was against – I think Mason McCormick was the right guard at that time, and they had Ryan McCollum on the inside, and they just could not block this guy.

Pittsburgh could not run the ball against this Giants defensive front because Dexter Lawrence was just a beast on the interior, and Spencer Anderson is a backup – a backup level player that's starting right now.

And that is no secret to anyone.

And you bring in, you know, a veteran offensive line coach in James Camp and a former player in Jari Evans to kind of work with this unit.

And I have a lot of faith that those guys can – you know help turn things around but you know you look at what the just in general this team has done dating back to the past regime when it just comes to flipping players around and I mean I think not to say that it's not going to work with Troy Faltano and Mason McCormick because it's still very early and they did have a lot of experience playing on the left side throughout the offseason it was a very early decision to switch them but You know, this team constantly shuffling their offensive linemen.

I mean, you're not getting the most out of them when, you know, they're going through a full offseason and you need to learn how to play a new position.

And, you know, maybe things will eventually click midseason or, I mean, hopefully sooner than that.

However, apparently, Spencer Anderson broke a bone in his leg, according to Mark Kabaly, and And so you're probably going to have Brock Hoffman inserted at right guard.

And so why not take this opportunity to insert Maxi Honitore the same way they did with flipping both...

I think the, the full expectation is that those guys are going to be able to handle the left side.

Max McCormick, um, uh, uh, Mason McCormick, and, um, Troy Fountain are gonna be able to handle that left side.

With Zach Frazier, that's going to give you an anchor, maybe sooner than the right side will, because those guys have been together.

Now they're adjusting, um, not just to the NFL level, but they're, they're adjusting to the side.
