Jester is visited by Artie in the wake of her frenzy. Jace and Izzie meet with Skeeter to enlist his help. Aspen seeks out Charles after the events of the training ground. Jace meets with Edward…
Anyway, let's get everyone caught up as to where we are now.
Last week, we saw Jester properly introduced to Charles' betrothed, Katarina Volkova, where she got to know the other Silverfang a little bit better, getting to see the similarities between Charles and Katarina, but also some very, very interesting differences between And perhaps even getting a little bit of empathy for another Silverfang who has been thrust into a life of responsibility and duty over desire.
After that, we saw Jace and Izzy meet with Eliza and Stakes to parcel out exactly what this situation entailed and how to move forward after various events had happened.
The capturing of Will-O-Wisp of the Hellhounds, the constant ever-looming threat of the of the cult of Fenris, and much, much more.
There was a lot to discuss, but a plan was made.
Whether or not that plan was followed to a T is debatable, but a plan was made at the very least, and execution has started to take place.
We then saw Aspen and Artie arrive in Vermont to be greeted and settle in to the court for what seems seems like is going to be a much longer stay than anticipated.
Aspen quickly realized just how uncomfortable the court made her when she saw the image of falconry on all four posts of the bed in her room, realizing that Falcon is definitely paying attention, which isn't necessarily the place Aspen wants to be.
Not to mention that she can't use her phone on a regular basis within the court.
which is very stressful as she receives text after text of what is happening and sends even more texts in response, trying to dig for more details.
After the break, Jace held a spiritual round table where Turtle and Star and Rat... came in attendance, but they also had a very unexpected guest in the form of the spiritual avatar of Fenris, who exchanged some words with Jason, but also had some very interesting things to pass on as well as learn from the Theurge.
And perhaps, perhaps peace can be achieved or, you know, some progress can be made without violence.
But again, things being as they are in the world of Garou, not everything is as shiny and happy as one would like.
After that, we saw Izzy meet with Eliza and Terrence to receive a little bit of bolstering words of confidence to tell them to get more in touch with Gaia herself and that Gaia won't steer him wrong.
He eventually did try this practice, focusing himself, centering himself, meditating.
And at some point, Gaia did reach out to him in the form of a vibrating guitar string, a thrumming sensation that seemed to pull him in a particular direction.
He then wound up just outside of the cigar factory as the cult of Fenris prepared to confront the Hellhounds.
And you're going to have to go watch the last episode of Hellhounds to see how all that resolved.
Then we saw Jester and Aspen receive a tour of the manor from Elias.
They were also able to take him into a room and ask a lot of questions, kind of rapid fire, but did they receive the answers they wished? Of course not, and they will have to do some more digging.
The tour was going swimmingly, of course, until they went to see the practice field where Charles was getting a handy ass kicking from Iron Oath to the point that Jester was unable to contain herself and frenzied going to attack the Elder Silverfang.
Unfortunately, there's a reason Iron Oath is considered one of the most dangerous fighters in the Garou nation, because without even changing form, he was able to handle the Krynosed werewolf by breaking Jester's arm.
Aspen... also seemed to lose a little bit of composure, turning almost radical as she charged out into the ring and shouted out how everything was stupid and this is wrong and they should be doing things differently, which is a really great thing to do in front of a majority of the court after you've just arrived.
So yeah, things are going great in Vermont.
