yeah and i think so speech therapy in and of itself is a very it's a honed in specialty but there's a lot of different areas of speech in the brain that that speech therapy can focus on so i did speech therapy i was still able to talk and communicate however my because of my traumatic brain injury my ability to have sustained concentration for coursework my ability to pick out different words like bale and bale, like bale water or bale hay, right? Or here or here, right? Is it here physically or is it here, here, right? So my brain really struggled with that.

And so I lost that identity piece as a young adult because I needed to sleep.
And even then, my first year of undergraduate college, I stayed at home and I just drove to and from college because...
the concentration piece was still redeveloping, and I still needed a quiet, under-stimulated environment to just start to thrive again, right? So that's how I started to modify my life was just be at home more, And then it wasn't until my sophomore year or second year of college that I moved up onto campus and I could better tolerate different demands.
