Seattle could change its rules about where RVs are allowed to park in the city. The councilmember pushing for this change is hoping it will eventually get these vehicles off the streets and people…
Libby DenkmannHostDavid KromanHostI have voted against the president's war six times.
This war has been a disaster for our families at home, for our military families, for our geopolitical security.

That is Marie Glusenkamp-Perez debating John Braun last week as she attempts to keep her seat in the House.

We have a lot of politics stories today because, I don't know, just tis the season, I guess.
Ballots are coming soon, so people are going to really start thinking about this deeply.

So the oracles of the Cook Political Report just flipped a bunch of House seats into their lean Democrat column, and that includes Washington's highly competitive third congressional district that MGP represents in the southwest part of the state.

That is where she is the incumbent trying to hold off the Republican challenger, Braun, who is the state Senate minority leader.

People really like writing profiles of her and kind of trying to get inside her head.

But MGP has been able to win in these races in a Trump aligned district in part because she separated herself from the Democratic Party.

But this has alienated a lot of progressives and, according to some, threatens to hurt her in what is expected to be a blue wave election year.

Recent polling shows that Braun is basically tied with Glusenkamp-Perez within the margin of error, but he's also fighting some historically low numbers for President Trump.

So I don't know, David, what do you make of this? It's anecdotal somewhat, but the real anger at MGP for going against Democrats in some of these votes did show up at her town halls.

They come out and they protest her occasionally on certain votes like the student loan forgiveness situation.

Do you really think the progressives might stay home or vote, what, a third party in this midterm election?
