We've been trying to nail this down, but do you have an estimate of how many people live in RVs in Seattle right now?
18:20
We have estimates that I believe are inaccurate.
18:23
So I'm also going to take one really big step back to say that this legislation is on types of vehicles.
18:30
So it's not designed for people who live in their vehicles.
18:36
What we are doing is we are creating very clear regulations about types of vehicles based on their size.
18:46
And simultaneously, the city has absolutely failed at providing any type of service for people who live in their vehicles.
18:54
Our city right now relies on two contracted outreach contracts to do all of the services for our city.

6 MINS LATER

25:23
So is $5 million enough to create an effective system here?
16:06
How would voters feel if they're asked to basically raise taxes to pay for Ballard, which was already promised in the SD3 tax package?
16:16
Well, we can't use Sound Transit 4 revenue to pay for Sound Transit 3 projects.
16:22
We can, like we used in Redmond, where s- Redmond was a Sound Transit 2 project that had a very bad date associated with it.
16:29
It had gotten pushed out very far, and we used Sound Transit 3 to bring that date closer.
16:36
So we cannot pay for Ballard with ST4, but we could bring it closer.
16:41
The best part in my mind there, though, is with ST4 and Ballard, is we have to keep going.
16:47
We have to get back up to Northgate, Greenwood, Crown Hill, send that train to Bothell.
19:36
Like, this is something that it sounds like you're gonna continue to really be pushing for and, and not take no for an answer.
