So, what I brought today, and I kind of alluded to this last time, is I'm working on some hoppers.
And what I've been doing to these, and I kind of have them in different progressions, um, is I'm adding some weights to them.
There were some weight kits that were put out pub- uh, uh, commercially that I bought a bunch of, and so it helps add a little bit of weight to the car.
'Cause, and y- you, you haven't picked these up yet, so I'm gonna let you be the judge since you're the here, since you've never done this before.
Um, but this is the car as they come delivered.
And so the weights, um, for those of you actually watching on there, the weights actually fit in these little alcoves under here, and then there's a sheet- That will go on the slope sheet here, uh, a little piece of metal, and then you paint it up, and it kind of blends in.
So this is how they come stock.
So they're actually really light cars.
Oh, very light
...
the NMRA specs, um, I believe it's one ounce for the car, plus a half an ounce for every inch of length.
So that's, being a six- a six-inch car, then that would be, what, four ounces?
Mm.
So an ounce for the, uh, a- an inch...
Sorry, say that again.
An ounce for the car, and then a half an ounce for each inch of length.
And so that's actually a very light car.
It comes in at, like, two and a half ounces or something like that.
So it is very-
Yeah
... very light.
Um, now, this weight kit that I bought, they are not...
Um, I didn't use them all.
