It's astounding where they'll run with this stuff.

Now, I'll just add some color and mention that you are talking about the support that came from the nutmeg division of the NMRA and Art Dutra and Mark Herrick, Mike Wheeler, and the group over there who has helped support this.

And then you mentioned these younger folks who have become involved that are deep into technology.

And you mentioned that the 4-H also does other things within technology with robotics and et cetera.

We're here to help you.

If we can get you into this hobby and you decide it's great and you want to stay in it, that's the goal.

And the end goal being when you graduate the 4-H program, when you turn 18, that you can then go off to either join like the NMRA, a local club.

One thing we're working to that point is currently we're HOT track and After August of 2027 we're going to be transitioning to offering and scale T track with all of our high school age kids with the goal being when they graduate our Program.

Another good show, again, we're looking at Eastern Mass, Southern New Hampshire, but another one in Eastern Mass is...

Marlboro Massachusetts called the hub show yep that is the hub is an NMRA group that out of the Boston area

yeah it's our primary NMRA group

and they they put on a nice show some layouts there some good dealers they yeah some guys from way out of state come to this one too so that's kind of cool

And then, of course, we're leading up to the big one in

Sometimes he sits out there with us on the other side of the restaurant and everything.

But anyway, some of these came about a long time ago, talking to National Model Railroad Association conventions.

When I did clinics there, actually I used to plan those, and pretty soon they said, you digress from a lot of these.

Is that the right word, digress?

All weekend, the Castor Rail Annual Model Railway Show at the Festival Hall in Castor Road in Market Racing.

NMRA, British Region Annual Convention and Train Show.

This is for Saturday the 24th.

We did not do Chattanooga.

Well, Bruce, I wanna wrap this up by talking about the changes that have happened for you since episode 69.

And I'm not talking about on the layout, I'm talking about getting discovered a bit since episode 69, and the fact that you've been able to hook up with the Central New York guys of the NMRA and that group as well.

It's kinda taken you from a little bit of a lone wolf off into pretty well-known layout in the area.

Talk about that.

So they're actually really light cars.

Now, the NMRA-

Oh, very light

the NMRA specs, um, I believe it's one ounce for the car, plus a half an ounce for every inch of length.

So that's, being a six- a six-inch car, then that would be, what, four ounces?

Mm.

so i particularly like the one where he waves the clipboard

oh that was the let's get out of here we're going home i had a clipboard in my hand right sent that one to mike just for him This is Sunday and I'm at the SBHRS today because the PCR Coast Division of the NMRA is having a meet here today.

And every time we have this meet, it's every fall, so it's always in September here.

And I always come to help with the virtual because we actually do a virtual version of this meet for our members.

So it's a great event.

Hopefully you do these kind of things where you live.

And just pretty happy to be in this region, in this division of the NMRA, because we have a really great group of people here.
