In a recent interview, the 81-year-old frontman hinted that fans may not have seen the last of the Rolling Stones on tour.
He said that he would love to get back on the road despite no official plans being announced yet.
The comments come after the band's hugely successful Hackney Diamonds tour and offer hope to fans who have been wondering whether the iconic rockers would perform live again.
Now, while Jagger stopped short of confirming a new tour, his enthusiasm does suggest that retirement isn't on the agenda anytime soon for one of music's most enduring acts.
And one thing that I noticed, and tell me if you felt the same, now, when they really are, I mean, they're fricking ancient now, nobody's like, "Ah, yeah, that, this is gonna be the last one for sure."
No, and look, I don't think there's any question Jagger would get out there when, when, if he can do all of his preparation and all of the workout that he puts in prior to a tour, to a tour, which is like what an Olympic athlete puts in.
I think it's been evident that the question is what Keith is able to commit to, what his arthritis allows, and that, you know, they had, the sto- as the story goes, they had Europe dates booked for the summer, and Keith's determination was that he could not commit to, you know-
I don't know what that means in terms of them doing any kind of one-offs around the release of the album.
