I grew up playing music and then started to kind of get out of being in bands and start to get more interested in the studio and DJing and making beats and things like that.
I worked quite a bit in the early 2000s with bands and friends doing remixes and DJing.
We co-produced quite a bit of stuff together, and I worked with him on all sorts of different projects, whether it was his own stuff, production for other people, or things related to Mad Decent.
Eventually, the major laser project started to get bigger, and we moved out to L.A., And so I was out there again.
We were in the Beastie Boys old G-Sun building in Atwater Village in L.A., which was really cool to be a part of that history.
And then eventually, after having a child, I moved back to Louisville, Kentucky.
I'm primarily a beat maker, you know, or producer, whatever you want to call it.
I signed the artist Riff Raff to Mad Decent and have worked with him for, at this point, 15 years, I think.
But then I've also been able to be a part of things like Lana Del Rey's album, Hollywood.
At the end of the day, I'm a DJ and a beatmaker, but I'm also just a music nerd.
