So the book's by Robert Rath.
It is read once again by Richard Reed, who reads the Infinite and Divine and has read the Twice Dead King series.
He is the voice of Necrons for me.
Yeah, does a great job.
Fantastic narrator.
My God.
I love his voices for Orican and Trazen.
I will attempt to go through this episode saying Trazen correctly.
I will fuck it up immediately, 'cause he's just Trazen in my head.
Yeah, same.
I guess also The Wicked + The Warped is the sequel to Infinite and the Divine.
At the same time, it's in that-
You didn't need to have read it
...
it rewards you for having read the first one, obviously, because it is a sequel, but it is a sequel in the more general TV show sense, where, like, you could just tune into an episode and miss a few and you're okay.
Yeah.
You'll miss out on a little bit here and there, but, like, the broad strokes of this book, you won't need to have anything from the first one.
But I do think [laughs] it did a good job of tying some stuff in from the first one.
I guess from a general first point of order, is the book good? Should people go read it if they just want a verdict before we talk spoilers at some point?
I have some complicated thoughts on that.
I'm shocked you're at that point.
To me, it's just, it's really good.
I liked it.
Is it as good as The Infinite and Divine? No.
But The Infinite and Divine is possibly the best 40K book, so not being that good is fine.
