So when do I stop thinking about GLP-1s as weight loss drugs and start thinking about them as something more?

Yeah, I think it's a really great question and hopefully will be a great conversation because all of us have heard about GLP-1s as related to weight loss.

But lately, it feels like the headlines just keep talking about every week the potential benefits that go way beyond what the number on the scale is.

Like we're hearing about inflammation, heart health, brain health, addiction, mobility, and even really the possibility of helping us just age more

What's interesting about it when I think about it is, you know, I talked about this with you as well and on the podcast about, you know, the shame.

So in the beginning, I was taking these drugs and I still am taking these drugs to control, to lose weight and stabilize my weight, which I had really struggled for a good portion of my life doing.

All those things people who do, you know, never suffered from it really do say.

But now the potential benefits we want to talk about in this podcast seem to be kind of monumental and life changing.

I mean, I'll tell you, it's interesting how a conversation happened at dinner the other night.
