Um, on Rosh Hashanah, Vav Tishrei.

Vav Tishrei, as we all know, is the yard site of the Rebbetzin Chana, the Rebbe's mother.

And this is talking about the Haftera, the famous Haftera on Chana, uh, that we read, uh, a- about, about Chana's infertility, her prayer, and her song to Hashem that we read on Rosh Hashanah.

And the Gemara continues, "From the words V'Chana Midaberis Al Liba," from the words Chana spoke to her heart or upon her heart, "MiKan," from here the, the Gemara says, "L'mispalel Tzarich Sheyichabein Libo," that a person has to have intention in their heart when they pray.

"Rak S'vasah Nois," and from the words, "Only her lips were moving," in other words, you couldn't hear what she was saying, but you could see that her lips were moving.

So we learn from this, "MiKan L'mispalel," from here we learn that a person that prays, Sheyichtach Bisvasa," that they have to articulate, that they have to enunciate the prayer with their lips.

[clears throat] "V'colelo lo ishma," and her voice was not heard, "MiKan SheAlso Lagbia Colei B'tefillah." From here we learn that you're not allowed to raise your voice, uh, you're not allowed to articulate the words, uh, loudly when you're davening Shmoneh Esreh.

B'tefillah here does not mean prayer, but as it means in, in Mishnah and Gemara, it is usually referring to Shmoneh Esreh.

"V'Yachshaveh L'shicheirah," and Eli thought her to be drunk.

From here we learn that you're not allowed to daven when you are drunk.
