What are you recommending?

Okay, so I can't actually remember if you've seen this before.

It doesn't feel very you, but it feels like something someone in the Shameless Media office has told me to watch.

So if it's not you, I think it's Bella or Gil has told me to watch this.

I finally watched it.

This aired on SBS, I believe, a couple of years ago.

Death on the Staircase.

I haven't watched it, but it sounds really familiar.

This is incredible.

Um, essentially, in an Australian courtroom, they recreated a true crime story that played out in Australia.

They got a brand new jury.

They had actors play out exactly what happened in the trial, and they s- they kind of took you into the jury room to see how the jurors spoke to each other, what conclusion they came to, whether they found this person guilty or not guilty of murdering their partner.

Then, at the end, they reveal what happened in the real court case and what happened to this very real man who was on trial for murder.

No. [laughs] It's, yeah.

So why did they act it?

Because in Australia we, we don't have cameras in courtrooms.

No, no, what, I think that's what confuses me, is because we don't have cameras, no one's taking down, it's, how'd they know that all those conversations are true and what took place?

I, I know they definitely are true.

I know that you have a more legal mind than I do.
