What I want to do in this next kind of series that we're going to go through is basically I want to look at the seven most common ways we screw our life up.
Or another way to say it is, these are the seven most dangerous enemies to becoming sacred men.
So over the next seven episodes, we're going to walk through what's been historically called the seven deadly sins.
Today's going to be an introduction, and then we're going to look at one of these vices or one of these deadly sins per episode.
And we're doing this so that we can recognize them, we can avoid them, we can repent of them, we can go to war with them when they show up in our lives.
But today is basically gonna be 30,000 foot view, overview and introduction.
And I wanna tell you, kind of what the goal is for this series, like why it matters and specifically for us as men.
And I also want to tell us what we're not trying to do because this type of series can go wrong in a lot of different directions.
And I want to make sure that we're doing something useful, something helpful, and we're not just spending seven weeks feeling bad about ourselves and telling each other how bad we suck, right? So I don't want to do that.
So let's basically, let's start here.
