And that's why changing your life feels so hard.

But in this episode, I am giving you my Trojan horse strategy.

And I'll explain exactly what that means because today's episode is all about letting go of bad habits and build amazing ones which will turn you into the successful person that you're meant to be.

Let's rewire your brain.

But this boss has seniority.

It's not going to be so happy about this change that you're trying to make.

so it will hate you with all the resistance your brain thinks why are we changing something if it's not broken so because your brain doesn't like change and change is not efficient anytime you try to make some massive change like start waking up at 5 a.m start a diet do a crazy 180 on your life your brain will freak out and that's why typically big changes like that don't last because your brain will pull you back into comfort to go back to the old program which is more efficient right in general your brain doesn't want to use more energy than it has to that's why routines are efficient programs are efficient they conserve energy but i mastered a strategy on how to infiltrate the brain and successfully change your habits i coined it from the trojan war because we are using the trojan horse strategy let's go back to the trojan war the greeks spent a decade trying to get inside troy's walls so they built a wooden horse hid soldiers inside it and sent it in as a gift the trojan horse that was how they infiltrated the walls and won the war and this is the move for your habits too you don't storm your own walls and overwhelm the brain with a 180 change overnight you slowly sneak the change in small tiny one percent changes a day instead of this big identity shift overnight which never lasts for a reason because your brain will retaliate on the attack your brain doesn't see the one percent coming those little changes and small improvements will go under the radar they won't alarm your brain because they're not that different from what you're currently doing this is exactly why you build brick by brick and you make one percent improvements And that is actually what works.

Because over time, those 1% improvements compound and they actually turn into really big things.

Yeah, I was I was more excited in the theory if it was like from inception, the whole thing.

It was the Trojan horse.

It was in Alberta, as we call them, the kamikaze campaign horse.

um yeah which would have been much more exciting so what is the i mean i guess the question is now uh with your theory aside and i love it people can chew on that and write into the show and let us know what they think uh what does this do to bc's conservatives now uh and and obviously we'll get bc voices on here um what i know about our friends in british columbia they're gonna love uh a tandem duo from alberta and ontario analyzing what's next Here's what's next for y'all.

The United States is honestly one of the last strongholds on this planet for many reasons.

If they have to break this United States from the inside out, it's the Trojan horse story.

So they're doing it through bringing in the fentanyl, bringing in all of the sex trade, all of this stuff.

And it's crumbling now.

So that's a new fourth industrial revolution, highly extractive, going to move us to a completely new economic model, while at the same time building a digitally enabled surveillance state.

This is the Trojan horse.

It's being presented as the only solution to fixing the economic problems in the country, solving the cost of living crisis.

This is what youth employment is going to be all about.

The camel's nose right under the tent.

Or as I like to say, the Trojan horse.

Once you let the state in, yeah, it's almost impossible to get them out of your house.

And I had an interesting conversation with Leslie about this yesterday because they don't really teach classics in school anymore.

We got elements of it when I was in secondary school and you got to learn about some myths and everybody knew about the Trojan horse, for instance.

And now Trojan horse has become common parlance because of IT, because it's regarded to a virus and something hidden within something else.

So people have got different interpretations of what Trojan horse is.

And if they have any interesting that we'll find out what the meaning is behind that actual phrase as well so people do know about the certain elements of the story there's like the fall of Troy, Helen not so much Odysseus to be perfectly honest but yes there's the whole story thing so he's got the license to include all the major elements but make it his own he doesn't need to stick to it and i know he's got some criticism on that part from scholars who have said it's not true to what was actually written what was actually translated there's not enough sex in it that was one of them there's not enough sex in the film you think
