A loss in Lisbon means that we have zero points after our opening two games in the Europa League.

I wonder to myself, is there a chance that as the day goes on, as time goes on, I look at it as, we had basically a B team heading to Lisbon.

I'm still just... absolutely done in with the state of this club and European football.

I'm sick of being the whipping boys and I can't really put a positive spin on it.

I'm fed up of watching my football club be embarrassed time and time again in Europe.

and obviously that helps in camp heading into tomorrow's game but I would say as fans, we're not feeling that same positivity.

Here's Martyn O'Neill's comments after the game where he said he was naturally disappointed but spoke about how he thought we were excellent in the second half, he said, I thought we were absolutely excellent, the substitutions were strong, the ones coming on, Hasan and Osmond on the other side, considering he wasn't in the squad last Sunday coming back from injury, I thought he did brilliantly.

There was always the possibility of Benfica on the break scoring against us and they did.

But I get great encouragement from this and even though we've lost the two games, we're down to six matches.

So there was more comments after that, he did expand on those comments, talking about what happened in the game and our hopes from here in Europe.

Look, listen, I can understand people trying and including the manager trying to spin it in a positive direction, like it always felt like a loss anyway for Celtic.
