Today on Rise & Shine: Fel and Andy got a sweet gift from a Vision Family Member! We're also hearing more of your suggestions as we make a roadtrip from Canberra!…
We have a little bit of a tale to tell, which I want to say, sometimes God just shows you how much he loves you and you get these, it's an act of kindness.
And that happened to us yesterday.
Talk us through it, Phil.
What was going on? What was the feeling like in the studio?
Okay.
So look, Andy and I don't have brekkie and I know that's controversial, but we get up at like four.
And so we say, sometimes we'll have a banana, sometimes not.
We're trying not to at the moment.
We got to, like, 8 a.m. our time yesterday, and my tummy was making so many noises that Andy's like, Phil, are you right over there? And I said, I'm actually hungry today.
Like, I was very hungry.
Look, Phil, I think I picked it up on the mic.
That's how loud it was.
The grumbling.
I heard the grumbling of the tummy on the mic, and I'm like, wow, Phil's hungry.
I was hungry too.
I went to the boxing gym the night before, smashed myself.
I was so tired and hungry.
And I'm like, I need some food.
What are we going to do for food? And it was getting desperate, wasn't
it? We went through our options.
We were like, do we try in a couple of song sweeps, like, you know, in this two song thing, do we try and race to a cafe and buy banana bread? It's an option.
Like it's Dodge.
One of us put our hand up for that mission, didn't we? You did.
