Evan MinskerGuestChris SlusarenkoHostWell, I wanna ask you, I, I wanna do a little, uh, a thought experiment or whatever you would call it-
... um, just to illuminate people who might be stuck in terms of trying to find new music.
Can I throw out a couple things that you might be able to string along? If I say, like, "Hey, if I'm a fan of, like, Poison Idea, is there a, a, a band that you could be like, 'Hey, you might like this'"?

There, there's, uh, there's a label called Har- uh, Unlawful Assembly out of Milwaukee that I think is, like, one of the great hardcore labels going.

They've been doing it for a long time, but they put out stuff really consistently.

Uh, yeah, I mean, like, a- again, it's just like there are so m- 11PM Records.

But, like, there, the hardcore, like, there, there are so many unbelievable hardcore labels right now that I just sort of feel like are doing things that are so, uh, filthy, and primitive, and, uh, exciting as, as well.

And it's interesting to have that happening concurrently as, like, Turnstile's, like, the biggest rock band in the world, and, like, there are hardcore bands that are so, like, big tent, top shelf, produced immaculately.

And then you have, uh, you, you know, people who are doing it very much, like, on a four-track or an eight-track in a basement or whatever, and it sounds amazing.
... and the film we're gonna talk about today is just what you said at the end there.
