Well, that such sound advice for understanding the mind of the consumer first and understanding their needs and then building your marketing based on those insights.

Would you say that that starts with research and starts with just talking to people? I mean, as you've gone and had bigger and bigger opportunities and bigger and bigger companies that you're working with, I mean, do you do a lot of consumer focused research first to base your marketing off of, or is it more just like talking to people?

There's a huge benefit to obviously customer research, right? Surveys, all those things are great.

But why did they pick red or why did they pick black or why did they like this? And I think the why is the emotional part that really brings marketing together.

You know, anyone can read a research paper and do a survey and say that, oh, okay, well, this demographic of people like this the most.

And we should just make an ad and serve it to those people and it should be about this thing.

if you don't really understand the thought process of the customer, then you're really not going to be as successful as you think.

And so like, I was just talking to a big box retailer a couple weeks ago and they had called me and inquired about some consulting stuff.

I said, I could do it remote in theory of like meeting the people and giving them feedback, but you'd have to fly me into places where, to meet the actual customers and go into the stores and see the interactions and witness what goes on.
