And, um, let me just say from scratch right now is that, um, I curated an incredibly vibrant set of performances this year, um, just to offset last year being, you know, a little more internal and-
... artistic and, uh, thought-provoking, and that's where the artists were last year.
And this, uh, year, the artists were all over the place, like they usually are, um, giving, uh, a diverse set of, uh, performance energies, and it was really hard.
Um, uh, we received 130 applications.
Yeah, and some people applied with more than one piece.
So it wasn't like, like I watched 130.
It was like 160 or something, you know.
But, um, I like it.
Uh-

I have a whole process.
[laughs] I have a whole process.
But it is heartbreaking to, to say no to people who I really, really, really loved.
And I could-
... easily see them, uh, I mean, easily see them in the festival, but they just-

I just can't fit them all in, not this time.
Maybe another year.
