Today on the way home, I was listening to Walk This Way by Aerosmith and the Run DMC remix, if anyone knows that remix.

It's so much better.

But I think that the biggest issue is that, you know, Run DMC, slightly before us, they crossed over with Aerosmith when they did the Walk This Way song, but we crossed over because we were making explicit versions of records, but we're using Van Halen and Well, the Kinks and all these other different people in our records.

But we didn't really think it would be off the way that it went because of the comedians like Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, they never caught that kind of flack.

So we were wondering why we were actually catching the flack.

I think, you know, we crossed over, but we crossed over in a different way than Run DMC and then crossed over.

You know, you bring up a really excellent point.

I collect a lot of records, and one of the filthiest records I own is way older than even Eddie and Chris Rock, people like that.

Like, like, like Run-DMC is my favorite act of all time, and seeing them at the height of their powers, 1986 on the Raising Hell Tour with, uh, LL Cool J, Whodini, and the Beastie Boys, that was my favorite.

We loved the show so much, they were playing Kalamazoo July 9th.

I wasn't

very cool at school, but at the record stores where I cared about their opinion, you know, I was like, because I would come in and buy Run DMC and Cyndi Lauper and Metallica and Lionel Richie.

Like, you know, they would always be like,

This is the kid that knows everything, right? So there was this record store.

Well, you know, I always had a love for fashion and I always wore glasses.

So when I started researching and learning about the vintage side of it and, you know, like in a lot of the old movies, rock and roll, King in New York, as far as even music, Run DMC, you know, Jam Master Jay, Kumo D, you can see the eyewear.

and it's still prominent in today's fashion.

You can wear the same pair that they were wearing and it will still stick out today.
