And just as before, what I read to you now is the word of the eternal triune living God.

Verse 28, and when he had said these things, he went on ahead going up to Jerusalem.

If anyone asks you, why are you untying it? You shall say this, the Lord has need of it.

And as they were untying the colt, its owner said to them, why are you untying the colt? And they said, the Lord has need of it.

And then they brought it to Jesus and throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it.

As he was drawing near already on the way down the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen.

Saying, blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord, peace in heaven and glory in the highest.

And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, teacher, rebuke your disciples.

The grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of our Lord stands forever.

We have moments where we celebrate this called Palm Sunday and things like that.

That we would be able to see your divine purposes in this moment, what this day means for us.

that we would see our Lord Jesus in everything that you intend for us to see in these 12 verses, and that we'd be changed by it, that we would conform further into the image of Christ.

That's what you've predestined us to be, is conforming to the image of Christ.

And we would lean on that promise today that you would use this text in that way, that Christ would become more brilliant to us by our study of this text for a few minutes here today.
