We are not expecting to see a good solid amount of clearing to take place, though, and without the skies clearing off completely, we probably will avoid widespread hard freezes overnight tonight.

Most of our temperatures will be in the thirties, though, and we do expect to see the cloudiness, uh, increase as we go forward into the day tomorrow.

Now, as the cloudiness comes back across the region overnight tonight and into the morning tomorrow, we will look for a chance for some precipitation to begin to evolve.

Now, most of the precipitation is gonna be disorganized in the region, but we do expect some showers to pick up across parts of South Dakota prior to dawn and we'll likely see them scatter across a fair amount of eastern South Dakota and Minnesota.

As we go into the morning tomorrow and into the early afternoon, it'll be followed by a colder air mass coming southward from Canada.

And as that colder air comes in, it's going to cause some additional showers to occur.

These showers may be in the form of snow and rain, and they will impact North Dakota as well as northern parts of Minnesota and possibly the northeast corner of South Dakota as we get out into Thursday night and early on Friday morning.

The precipitation that we see late tonight and tomorrow will run trace amounts upwards to thirty-five hundredths of an inch, and there will be a few areas in southern parts of South Dakota and southern Minnesota that could get a half inch of moisture.

The unsettled shower activity will likely stay with us until we get beyond dawn on Friday, and then we'll look for a new clearing trend to take place.

And when that clearing trend takes place, we will most likely experience another shot of very chilly temperatures, and those are likely to occur as we get, uh, into, uh, Friday morning and e-especially on Saturday morning.

Although on Friday morning, North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota will be clear enough that we'll see temperatures in the upper twenties and thirties.

As we go ahead and move into Saturday morning, though, everybody will be clear, and we'll see frost potentials across the area and maybe a few areas of freezing temperatures, especially in Minnesota.

A strong warming trend is expected to occur as we finish out the week and move into the weekend, with temperatures rising above normal eventually.
