Our Most Important Concern | Sermon

I believe and profess that our Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Word of God, true God and true man.

He is the sole mediator between God and men, the sole savior of the human race, the sole king of souls and of societies.

All things were created by Him and for Him, All things must be restored in him.

No culture, no society, no law, no human wisdom finds its true and complete perfection outside his reign.

I firmly believe that that to perpetuate and prolong the work of redemption until the end of time, our Lord Jesus Christ founded one church, visible, hierarchical, indefectible, and necessary for salvation.

I believe that the Most Holy Eucharist truly, really and substantially contains the body, blood, soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I adore the most blessed sacrament of the altar and reject every doctrine or practice which weakens faith in the real presence, diminishes the respect due to the Eucharist.

One of the things that's very clear from this brief summary of our Catholic faith in Jesus Christ is that belief in Jesus Christ is inseparable from belief in His Church and in the Most Holy Eucharist.

As Catholics, we must show the greatest love and respect for the Holy Eucharist, especially at Mass.

And again, this isn't just something individual, but we must be doing this as the mystical body of Christ, as the Church.

That's why it's so important that the rite of the Mass, here we're talking about the traditional Latin Mass, that it shows this greatest love and respect for the Eucharist.

Why? Because it is love and respect for our Savior Jesus Christ.

Love and respect for His precious blood.

Everything that we do as Catholics, but especially everything that we're doing in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, should show this great faith, love, and respect for the precious blood of our Savior Jesus Christ.

One of the things also that I hope that you'll be inspired to do more as we reflect on this profession of our Catholic faith is the need to make reparations.

Anytime we have an individual, and especially fellow Catholics, anytime that there's really any human being, again, especially fellow Catholics, but anytime there's any human being that doesn't believe in our Savior Jesus Christ, or thinks that he can be saved without Jesus or apart from his church, try to consider the reparation that must be made for this.

This is a rejection of Christ as the truth.

This is a rejection of the church that he founded.

This is a rejection of his precious blood.

It's not something small.

Anytime that you have, again, either an individual or even a group.

Obviously, it's even worse when you're talking about a whole big group like the groups of the false religions.

But anytime you have an individual or a group, professing really blasphemous things like, I don't need to believe in Jesus to get to heaven or to be saved.

A denial of Jesus as the sole mediator between God and men, the sole savior of the human race.

A lot of reparation needs to be made for that.
