James Bond Will Return… 14. Callum Turner?

So welcome to our latest episode of this series that we're entitling James Bond Will Return as we track the progress of Bond 26 and things have happened quite steadily.

There have been some slow periods but now we're at a bit of a quickening speed because of all the casting rumours with regard to James Bond himself.

We did actually in our 12th episode of this series look specifically at the leading man.

And then it was after that, in our last episode, episode 13, that we really honed in on one, which was Jack Loudon, because he, for one reason or another, became the favourite.

He became someone who all fans and the media were speculating he's got the job after one or two rumours.

Then that quietened down for a little while, and we knew about other names who were in the mix.

And now suddenly we're recording episode 14, which is called Callum Turner.

And it's for similar reasons, really.

He's another name that's been in the mix, like Jack Loudon.

But things have happened lately, over the last few days, which have social media and media... speculating that he may well have been cast and it's kind of underway and it's, you know, just waiting to be confirmed.

It may appear just to be another rumour.

We are just recording our thoughts on this, not our expertise, our thoughts, our opinions, and talking about where we're basing these rumours.

But we do love it when you guys join in as well.

So do please not just watch, not just listen, but also join in any chat on our social media channels, on the comments on our videos, because we'd love to know what you think.

This is going to be, you know, a big moment casting James Bond and not just public opinion, but fan opinion is really, really important.

So do hit us back with your comments.

For this chat, I'm joined by Tom.

We're meeting on an evening just to record our thoughts.

I can kind of, give a rundown of where we're up to and how we got to this point.

We obviously know that Amazon MGM became in charge back in May, and Denis Villeneuve and Stephen Knight are all confirmed.

Sorry, not back in May, but going back over this last year, we've had those names confirmed, Denis Villeneuve directing, Stephen Knight writing.

And then what started to happen was at the end of October, just a week or so ago, maybe two weeks ago, even the BBC was joining in reports about final screen tests for James Bond.

We'd heard a lot of favoured names to take the role.

But it seemed pretty confirmed that there were these screen tests happening in certain places.

Reports from Deadline, which you might have heard of online, reporting that, yes, Jack Loudon was there.
