Mark JohnsonPANELIST
44:29
It's heavy on di- dialogue, which kinda is more, more my vibe.

I think they give it to Jack O'Connell for 28 years later, The Bone Temple.
RowanHOST
38:54
He's silly.
Luke StevensonHOST
8:34
We went, yeah, that was great.
Luke StevensonHOST
8:35
Jack O'Connell.
Luke StevensonHOST
8:37
Well, yeah, but that's just Jack O'Connell bias, isn't it? Yeah, but my description of this episode, because Scarlett was sat with me and she kept pointing out how it was like Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society at the same time, because we have watched those

films recently.
Tom BeasleyHOST
8:54
Have you seen those films? I've seen Good Will Hunting and I can feel like I've seen Dead Poets Society.
MichelleGUEST
37:58
think I watched that one, actually.
MattHOST
38:00
So it's essentially, what is it, Jack? Jack O'Connell.
MattHOST
38:05
I refer to him as Darby Boy.
MattHOST
38:07
So Darby Boy is making the song as a newspaper.
Derek MirandaHOST
63:49
My number nine, I'm going with Ink, which is the new Danny Boyle film.
Derek MirandaHOST
63:53
So there's Guy Pearce and Claire Foy and Jack O'Connell, and it's about...
Derek MirandaHOST
63:58
Rupert Murdoch in like the 70s or 80s.
Derek MirandaHOST
64:03
And I think mostly it's kind of like buying, like starting The Sun, or he bought The Sun, he started The Sun.
Rebecca FordHOST
15:38
And I wrote a first look about it, and I was really trying to emphasize that it's not that much about Rupert Murdoch.
Rebecca FordHOST
15:43
It's really about Larry Lamb, played by Jack O'Connell.
Rebecca FordHOST
15:46
And I think people's expectations, because all the headlines are like, Rupert Murdoch movie.
Rebecca FordHOST
15:51
Rupert Murdoch,

report as a tv show anyway and uh he confirmed or did he confirm because what would he know he says that the james bond the new james bond has already been chosen and while he didn't say his co-star from slow horses jack loudon loudon jack loudon got the job he basically said he thinks jack loudon got the job Jack Barton people may remember from Heartstopper and SAS Rogue Heroes has emerged as a favourite with the bookies but Oldman seems to think it's all about to happen very soon I hear no mention of Jack O'Connell there and I'm very upset but do you know what I still haven't gone looking for the old betting slip because I don't want to put the mockers on it and do you know what there's too many books to move around to

it but eh So yeah, Jack O'Connell is moving down the list severely.
David O'CallaghanHOST
39:58
But maybe it's just Gary Oldman messing with people's minds.
David O'CallaghanHOST
40:00
But I hold strong that out of the blue, Jack O'Connell will come out of nowhere.
David O'CallaghanHOST
40:05
But as I said, it's Loudon versus Barton.
David O'CallaghanHOST
40:10
It's all the Jacks, actually, in fairness.
BrickGUEST
38:31
And that is what I, I, if I did not see that scene, I probably would not have thought even higher of the movie or whatever.
BrickGUEST
38:40
I would have probably just been like, I don't get the hype and I'm just going to keep my mouth shut because I, nobody seems to not like this movie you know what i mean but that that post-credit scene just did something for me it's unexplainable so it's like for me like i saw it was like a a redemptive scene to like get me to think an entirely different way about this movie now there were things that i think individually stick out to this to me about this movie that will stand to for a long time I loved absolutely I mean Michael B. Jordan is a star like you know you talk about who's a movie star like it's not like you can't say I can't say one bad word about his performance like he is a movie star and he showed it through and through in this performance earned his Oscar well done and then Jack O'Connell that's his name right I thought he thoroughly enjoyed playing the sinister villain and just ate every scene that he was in, right? So I took that.
BrickGUEST
39:44
That's a good takeaway from me.
BrickGUEST
