Okay, next one's a good one.

So how should Christian parents handle it when respected church leaders make very different educational choices, like strongly supporting public school or other school options?

Well, I think there's a couple of things we have to keep in mind there.

Some of them are just simply not educated on the issue.

Even pastors most of the time really don't have a biblical worldview when it comes to education.

And I actually wrote a book that I would encourage you to give to your pastor.

It's called Education, Does God Have an Opinion? And this book is really a biblical philosophy and a biblical theology of what God says about the issue of education.

I would love for you to grab a copy of Education Does God Have an Opinion, give it to your pastor, and just say, Pastor, I would encourage you to read this book, and I would just love to hear your feedback.

And I think it will be very eye-opening for your pastor.

And if he reads it and says, you know what, I don't agree with that, I don't believe, don't feel like you have to argue with him.

But at least he's been presented with what I think is a very compelling biblical apologetic for why Christian education is mandatory for Christian children.

And so I would encourage that.

But I think we also have to be careful that we don't try to become the Holy Spirit for other people.

So we have to get to the scripture for ourselves and we have to do what we believe the scripture teaches us to do.

But we also have to realize that other people are going to have to stand before God on their own.

And so we can present information to them.

We can present truth to them in a kind and gentle and loving way.

But ultimately, we don't want to try to become the Holy Spirit police for other people because one of the things that we believe about education from the scripture is it's not the jurisdiction of the state.

And education of children really is not the jurisdiction of the church.

And this is controversial because that's what a lot of Christians believe.

It's really the jurisdiction of parents.

And if it's the jurisdiction of parents, I have jurisdiction and my wife has jurisdiction over our household.

But like, I don't, Christy, I don't have jurisdiction over your household.

I don't have jurisdiction over Garrett's household.

Like we, I don't have, that would be out of line for me, right? So when we do really believe that it is a parental jurisdiction, then we have to respect that.
