This is part 513, right? Because we've talked about this so many times.
So many times.
But I think it needs to be said.
And the reason I say this is...
I was on social media the other day.
And here's the thing.
A lot of people get caught up in the trap of social media thinking like, man, everybody's saying this on social media, so it must be true.
The problem is you are the algorithm, right? So whatever you're looking at, it's going to keep feeding you, right? So if you watch one video that's like eBay is dying, things are bad.
guess what? Your next video will probably be the same.
And the next one's going to be the same.
And the next one's going to be the same.
And then you'll be in this echo chamber and you're going to be like, man, eBay's terrible.
Like no one's going to succeed.
Yeah.
I mean, I look up term life information one time and then all my video feeds are term life stuff.
And then what happened to all my cute cats doing funny stuff? You know what I mean? So the algorithm will totally just feed you one thing.
And yeah, I think you're right about that for sure.
And so, you know, I started going down that rabbit trail again and I started watching people like, oh, Poshmark is far better or had people saying, yeah, I just started doing local sales or yeah, I just quit eBay altogether or I'm finally, you know, dying down my inventory and all of this talk and a lot of people are going to get upset at this episode.
But the reality is people have been saying this for years.
Before we even did the podcast, people were doing this.
Back in the late 2010s, they were doing this.
During Scavenger, they were doing this.
It's going nowhere.
